1. What Customer & Shop Owner Data We Store
When you register a shop account on PlayCoupon, we collect your business name, shop owner email address, shop WhatsApp contact number (for receiving customer winning claims), and secure authentication credentials managed via Supabase.
When a shop owner adds or imports contacts to dispatch campaigns, we store the customer's name and WhatsApp phone number. During campaigns, we track recipient message delivery status (queued, sent, delivered, failed) and coupon codes generated by customers who play your games.
2. Mandatory Customer Consent
We send WhatsApp messages only to customers who have explicitly provided consent to the shop owner to receive promotional updates and game links.
Shop owners are strictly required to confirm customer consent before adding individual contacts or performing bulk CSV imports. PlayCoupon does not provide contact lists and prohibits the purchase, rental, or scraping of third-party phone lists.
3. STOP Opt-Out Mechanism
Recipients retain full control over the messages they receive. Any customer can immediately opt out of marketing communications at any time simply by replying "STOP" or "UNSUBSCRIBE" to any WhatsApp message received from our system.
When a STOP message is received, our webhook automatically marks the customer as opted out. Once opted out, our system strictly blocks any future campaign messages from being delivered to that number.
4. How to Delete Your Data
We believe in data minimization and user control:
- In-App Customer Deletion: Shop owners can delete individual customer records or clear customer audiences at any time directly through the Customers page in the dashboard.
- Automated Dispatch Log Purge: Detailed campaign recipient transmission logs are automatically and permanently purged after 90 days.
- Full Account Erasure: To request complete deletion of your shop account, customer lists, and all associated database records, please email our privacy team at privacy@playcoupon.app. We will process and permanently wipe your data within 7 business days.
